My Muscles are too BIG

I would like to train my muscles without them getting to big and bulky.

Strange enough, I have perhaps an unusual ability to build muscles with very little effort and get results in a very little amount of time…im talking days. I get visible results in a very short time. The problem is is that I dont wanna have big bulky muscles anymore. I wanna just look trimmed and fit and be able to wear average fitted clothing.

I can go on a muscle building pumping spree for about 2 weeks and then all of a sudden its just bulging all over. You see I work as a nurse and just walking around looking like a mountain of muscles doesn’t really pass very well at the hospital.

How can I train in such a way so that my muscle mass doesnt just bulge out. I just wanna look fit and tight

  1. The main muscle-gaining range is anything from 6-12 reps. So there are a few things you can try (you lucky devil, I’d love to have your problem!).

    1) Stop lifting weights and do pure cardio training for weight loss.
    2) Only do more reps than 12
    3) Only do less reps than 5. This would be the first option I would try. You can get substantially stronger without gaining size. Give it a go and see if you still ‘bulk up’ too quickly. Would I be correct in guessing that you have always been a good sprinter? You may have a high proportion of type 2 muscle fibres, which means you have a greater ability to experience ‘hypertrophy’ (muscle growth).

    I also must mention that diet is 80% of the battle for a better body. If you keep your diet dialled in tightly (easier said than done) you can achieve and sustain your ideal physique.
